I'm surprised that you CAN do it at all! When I did the only Thanksgiving turkey I've done, I had to have Jon do it. I was about to lose it when he was just moving the bird around in the pan. It just looked too much like a bird and I got queasy. Let's just say it's a good thing I decided not to be a nurse!
