Mystery Baby

Well, we went to the doctor yesterday and got some pictures of our baby. They're all really cute, but I'm too tired to post them on here. But, just to let you all know,

......

It's a GIRL!!!! We're very excited! Now, for a name. The only name we had somewhat decided on was a boy name. The best we've got for a girl is Allison Wonder Lund. Any suggestions?

haha! That's a pretty clever name, but... anyhow. I'm sure you'll find a name that's just right. :) (like Goldilocks--not too soft, not too hard. j/k) CONGRATULATIONS on the GIRL!!! That's exciting!

Ooh, how fun to have a girl first! Having named no children of my own but having helped past roommates and my sister come up with names, I'd suggest looking at the family history first. See if you like mothers/grandmothers/sisters first/middle names. Look at first and middle names. See if you like the way they sound with Lund. If it's a little off, move it to the middle name section of life and try a few other names for first names. Start googling meanings on babynames.com (for example). Look at admirable scripture stories. Try to remember back to when you were 12 and had 100 names you *absolutely* loved for little girls and see if any of those help. Remember, most parents don't pick the name until they've seen their child, so, no rush. :D

I'd go for something a little less obvious. Like Disney Lund, Never Lund, Isle Lund, Nether Lund, Green Lund, Ice Lund, or Sara Lund.

The last one's my favorite - Oh and personally I'm actually glad you didn't post pictures. Well, unless you were just going to go with some head shots. Pictures of babies = cute. Pictures of fetal genetalia = not cute (and somewhat embarrassing for her when she's all grown up).

i think Tawanda is a good one. Lois thinks Tawanda Lafonda Lund is perfect.

I second the Tawanda Lafonda name. :)
And I wish you luck.
Since our track record for coming up with names in any timely manner stinks, I will not even pretend to be of assistance. Although, I do have to point out that Sara missed a few --
Fin, Eng, and the place I dwell oh so often- Crazy (Lund).
Good luck!
oh, and congrats!

Lacie thinks she should be named 'Emily.'
Andrea says 'Aniyah' or 'Unicorn' or 'Diamond.'
Lacie is still insisting on 'Emily.'

I know, lots of help.

Yay! I was afraid people weren't having baby girls anymore! I will talk more about all the wonderful possibilities with you later. As for names, we found the baby wizard voyager helpful in sorting out names by trendiness and such. Love you!
